1. About this notice

This notice explains how personal information submitted through the Bowls Sure website (bowlssure.co.za) is collected, used and protected.

Bowls Sure is a specialist cover offering for lawn bowls equipment, presented under the Bowls Sure trading name rather than as a separate registered company. The equipment policy itself is powered by MultiDo (Pty) Ltd, an authorised Financial Services Provider, FSP 55361, regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). Where this notice refers to “we”, “us” or “Bowls Sure”, it means the Bowls Sure offering as arranged through MultiDo (Pty) Ltd, unless the context indicates otherwise.

This notice covers information submitted through this website only. It does not cover information MultiDo (Pty) Ltd may separately hold once a policy is in place, which is addressed in your policy wording and schedule.

2. Information we may collect

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us, principally through the quote and enquiry forms on this website. Depending on which form you use, this may include:

• your name
• your email address
• your telephone number
• your province
• your bowls club
• information about your bowls equipment, such as make, size and approximate value
• which accessories you carry, such as your bag, measuring tape, towel, chalk or footwear
• whether you would like to cover your own equipment, club equipment, or both
• any information you volunteer to us directly, such as in an email or phone call

We may also receive ordinary technical information that is generated automatically by visiting any website, such as an IP address or browser and device type. This is standard website hosting and security practice, not the product of any analytics or advertising tool currently active on this site — see section 5 below.

Where applicable, we use the information you give us to:

• respond to your enquiry or quote request
• prepare, follow up on, and where relevant pass on your quote request to MultiDo (Pty) Ltd or its administrators
• communicate with you about the cover you have asked about
• meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including those under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act
• maintain the security of this website and help prevent misuse

We do not use information submitted through these forms for unrelated marketing purposes, and we do not sell personal information.

4. When we share information

We do not casually share, sell or distribute your personal information. Information you submit may be shared with:

• MultiDo (Pty) Ltd, the authorised Financial Services Provider that arranges and administers the Bowls Sure equipment policy, so that your quote or enquiry can be actioned
• our website hosting and email service providers, who process information only to the extent needed to operate this website and deliver messages to us
• a regulator, court or other authority, where we are legally required to disclose information

We have not identified any other third-party processors, such as marketing platforms or CRM systems, in this website’s current technology.

5. Cookies and website technology

At the time this notice was prepared, this website does not display a cookie consent banner and does not use analytics, advertising or marketing cookies. A direct technical review of the live site found no tracking cookies and no analytics scripts loading for visitors.

This website is built on WordPress and uses standard plugins for functions such as page layout, form handling and image display. These do not set tracking cookies for visitors.

If this changes in future — for example, if website analytics is switched on — this notice will be updated to describe what is used and why.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect the personal information you provide against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No website or system can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the information involved.
